Co-Curricular Activity

Co- curricular activities in our Monté School

Co-curricular activities are those activities which are undertaken along with academic studies. Typically, co-curricular activities are carried out outside the normal classrooms but they supplement academic curriculum and help in learning by doing. These activities help students to develop problem-solving, reasoning, critical thinking, creative thinking, communication, and collaborative abilities.

MIS offers a wide range of Co-curricular activities such as music, art, or drama classes that take place during the day. Others could be voluntary such as participating in a school sports team, school debating teams, or student newsletters editorial team. In either case, participation helps students in emotional development, social skill development, and overall personality development.

We believe every child is unique and needs individual attention to channelize his energies. We focus individually on each child’s strengths and weaknesses to strengthen his core competency and reduce his weak points.

Pottery

Pottery is a creative art that teaches patience and imagination. Students learn to shape clay into beautiful pots, sculptures, and decorative items. This hands-on activity develops fine motor skills, focus, and artistic expression. Our pottery classes encourage learners to appreciate traditional craftsmanship while exploring modern design ideas.

Library

A library is a treasure house of knowledge where books, magazines, and digital resources inspire learning and creativity. It provides a peaceful environment for reading, research, and discovery. Libraries nurture curiosity, support education, and help readers explore new ideas, making them an essential part of every learning community.

Music

Music is the soul of our school, filling the environment with rhythm, harmony, and joy. It nurtures creativity, builds confidence, and brings students together through melody and expression. From singing to playing instruments, our music program inspires young minds to explore their talents.

Robotics

Robotics involves designing, building, and programming machines to perform tasks autonomously or semi-autonomously. It combines engineering, computer science, and AI to create robots used in industries, healthcare, exploration, and daily life, enhancing efficiency, precision, and safety across various fields..

Weaving

Weaving is a beautiful and ancient art of creating fabric by interlacing two sets of threads – warp and weft. It combines creativity with skill and patience. In our school, students learn weaving to develop concentration, coordination, and an appreciation for traditional crafts.

Skating

Skating is a fun and exciting activity that helps students develop balance, coordination, and confidence. At our school, skating is introduced as both a sport and a joyful form of exercise. It encourages teamwork, discipline, and physical fitness while bringing smiles to every child’s face.
